Pricing

There are two separate categories of pricing on crewdogs.

  1. Standard rates

  2. Official travel rates (opt in only)

 

Standard base rates

Notes: Imported rates from Airbnb will overwrite and replace base rates and seasonal rates. The only pricing that can be applied in-app for Airbnb connected listings are length-of-stay discounts and Crewdogs military discount.

How you can price on Crewdogs:

  1. Nightly

  2. Weekly

    1. Applied to all stays 7-29 days, or longer if no monthly rate is set.

  3. Monthly

    1. Applied to all stays 30 days and greater. Each night 30 days and above will be prorated for each night based on your monthly rate.

  4. Free

    1. You can’t set your place as Free in addition to charging a nightly price.

Seasonal Pricing

For any given date period, you can select a nightly, weekly, or monthly rate.

How it works?

  • These rates will overwrite base rates

  • Monthly length-of-stay discounts will NOT be stacked on top of seasonal rates.

  • If a stay meets the length criteria for weekly or monthly and falls within a seasonal rate date period, the seasonal rate will be pro-rated and used as the nightly rate.

What are the two rate groups for government travel?

  1. Guest has a Non-Availability Letter (With Non-A):

    1. Guests are authorized a maximum ZipCode-based reimbursement rate that may change based on month of the year.

  2. Guest does NOT have a Non-Availability Letter (Without Non-A):

    1. the Service member is limited to the reimbursement cost of Government quarters on the assigned TDY installation (JTR, Table 2-14)

How are these rates set?

The DOD releases rates on a fiscal year basis (September - October on next year). Crewdogs automatically uploads these rates to your listing as a maximum value.

  1. If your calculated standard rate for the requested stay is below the maximum amount, your rate will not be adjusted.

  2. If your calculated standard rate is above the maximum amount, your rate will be set at the maximum amount.

Discounts in Crewdogs

There are two separate discounts you can apply in Crewdogs:

  1. Crewdogs military discount

  2. Length-of-stay

Crewdogs military discount

  • Being asked for a military discount can get annoying, so we built it into your listing

  • This discount is applied to the average nightly rate, not including fees or deposits

  • It is NOT applied for Official Gov’t Travel stays where your rate have already been reduced

  • NOT required to add a military discount

Length-of-Stay discount

  • Applied for both Crewdogs only, and Airbnb connected listings

  • Weekly discount: applied to stays of 7 nights or more

  • Monthly discount: applied to stays of 28 nights or more

  • A monthly discount will not stack on top of of a weekly discount, only one will be applied

  • These are not applied to seasonal rates, only a nightly base rate

Damage deposit

At this time, Crewdogs allows for hosts to include a damage deposit total for pricing. This will not be calculated as part of the total, so it is important to note that this deposit must be refunded assuming the criteria for reimbursement has been met.

Crewdogs will be provided a damage waiver product for stays less than 6 months in the future. You can expect this product to be released this summer.
