Step 1: Set up your Net Commission Payment Method

Crewdogs is always the Merchant of Record. Navigate to Configuration → Payment Methods and create a new Net Commission payment method named for Crewdogs (e.g. "Crewdogs Net Commission Payment"). Record the numeric Payment Method ID.

Step 2: Create a Reservation Type

Navigate to Configuration → Reservation Types and create a new Reservation Type. Configure Rates & Commissions, Guest Settings, Owner Settings, and Housekeeping Settings. You will associate this type with your Crewdogs channel in the next step.

Step 3: Create a Crewdogs Distribution Channel

Navigate to Configuration → Distribution Channels and click "Create Channel". Search for and select "Crewdogs" from the channel name drop-down. Complete all fields, assigning the Payment Method and Reservation Type from Steps 1 and 2. After saving, click Edit on the new channel to find your URL Endpoint, Channel Key, and Channel Secret in the API Key section.

Step 4: Enable the channel for Rate Types and Reservation Fees

Edit each applicable Rate Type and Reservation Fee to add Crewdogs to the channels list so your rates and fees flow through to the integration.

Step 5: Obtain your PromoCode ID

Navigate to Property Management → Promo Codes and locate or create a military discount promo code. Record the numeric ID from the leftmost column.

Step 6: Send your credentials to Crewdogs

Provide your URL Endpoint, Channel Key, Channel Secret, Payment Method ID, PromoCode ID, and (optionally) Server Key and Server Secret to your Crewdogs onboarding contact via secure communication. Never share these credentials publicly.

Once integrated, Crewdogs will automatically pull listing details, pricing, and calendar data from Track PMS. This continuously updates without any user action required. Crewdogs processes payments as the Merchant of Record, including managing refunds and chargebacks. The built-in military discount PromoCode is applied automatically at booking — no manual steps needed.

Instant booking is available for Track PMS listings on Crewdogs. Booking requests are accepted or declined via email.

Trip modifications and alterations can be managed directly inside Track PMS. If a trip change affects the total amount — such as adding or removing nights — please work with Crewdogs to update the trip so we can adjust the charge and payout accordingly. Upsells should be arranged directly with the guest.

Your cancellation policy is mapped directly from your Track PMS policy and is displayed to guests both before and after booking. Your military discount is mapped from your PromoCode in Track — to change the discount amount for Crewdogs bookings, update the PromoCode directly inside Track.
