Our family uses this home regularly, and when we’re away, we open it to other families and professionals who will appreciate a space that’s been cared for, lived in, and thoughtfully curated. Our son attends TCU, and this home has been an important part of our family’s life. We’re excited to share it with guests who value comfort, character, and authenticity. Built in 1933, this home has been beautifully and tastefully remodeled while intentionally preserving some of its original charm. • Comfortable, Inviting Living Spaces As you walk through the front door, you’ll be welcomed into a warm and comfortable living room designed for relaxing and spending time together. The space features a reclining leather sofa, four accent chairs, two ottomans, a large TV, and a beautiful fireplace (display only and not available for guest use due to insurance requirements). Just off the living room is the dining area, centered around a large round white table with seating for four — a perfect spot for meals, games, or morning coffee. Behind the dining space is a full wet bar, which leads seamlessly into the kitchen. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped with a large island and four barstools, a gas stovetop and oven, and all the essential cookware and kitchen items you’d expect in a real, well-lived-in home. • Guest Bedrooms & Shared Bath A hallway off the dining room leads to two guest bedrooms and a shared full bathroom: The Shutter Room (first bedroom on the left): With six large windows that flood the room with natural light, this space is wonderful for early risers. It features a very comfortable queen-size bed. The Poster Room: This room includes a beautiful queen poster bed, two large windows, and floor-to-ceiling blackout curtains — ideal for guests who love to sleep in. The shared bathroom between these rooms offers a tub/shower combination and a double-sink vanity, making it easy for multiple guests to get ready comfortably. • A Primary Suite Made to Be Enjoyed Continue through the kitchen into the primary bedroom — a true retreat. This room features a king-size bed, a 55” TV, and a very large ensuite bathroom that was recently remodeled. The bathroom includes an oversized soaking tub, a walk-in glass shower, and generous getting-ready space. ⚠️ Important note: the bathroom does not have a door, allowing the tub and shower to be visible from the bedroom. The toilet is located in a separate enclosed room with a door, providing full privacy where needed. A queen air mattress is also available in the primary bedroom to accommodate up to two additional guests if necessary. You will have full access to the house (outside of one locked house keeping closet). While this home is fully set up for guests and does not contain personal items, we want to be transparent that this is our home — not a staged rental. We open it intentionally and hope it’s enjoyed with care and respect. Important Home Details: This home was built in 1933, and while it has been remodeled, some original elements were intentionally preserved — including the original door knobs. • They are not new • They may occasionally stick • They can require a bit of patience to operate These features are part of the home’s historic character and were kept intentionally. STREET PARKING is prohibited; all vehicles must be parked behind the iron gate, pulled fully down the driveway, under the carport, or in front of the garage (maximum 4 vehicles, 2–3 preferred). This home accommodates a maximum of 8 guests at all times, per city regulations.
