If you need assistance after 11 PM, please CALL Sara, rather than text! Her number will be provided in your check-in details. Bear Trail is privately situated on 25 acres, giving you seclusion, serenity and most importantly, MOUNTAIN VIEWS! The road is paved and does incline up the mountain. There is parking for 2-3 cars. I highly recommend 4WD during the winter months, as we never know what winter weather will bring to the area. Side Note: I also suggest purchasing travel insurance in the event of inclement weather. 🎊Please let me know if you are celebrating any special occasions! 🚫SMOKING or VAPING IS NOT PERMITTED INSIDE THE CABIN! IF YOU SMOKE INSIDE THE CABIN, YOU WILL BE CHARGED $300 TO HAVE THE CABIN TREATED. 🚫NO ILLEGAL DRUGS OR UNDERAGE ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION IS ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY! 🚫NO HOUSE PARTIES OR LOUD MUSIC WILL BE TOLERATED! 🚫DO NOT MOVE FURNITURE! Moving furniture can cause damage to the furniture and to the flooring, not to mention someone can get hurt doing so. If you have a request regarding the furniture arrangement, please contact us for consideration. There will be a fee charged for moving furniture without permission from the Host or CoHost. 🧻You are provided with a start up of toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. This is usually enough to get you through the 1st night of your stay. You are responsible for providing any extra items you may need for the remainder of your stay. 🪵We do not provide charcoal for the grill or firewood for the fire pit. You can pick that up in local grocery and convenience stores. 🐞 Ladybugs are protected in the Smokies, so pest control services are not an option. The National Park Service released millions of Asian lady beetles into the park to fight a tree-killing insect, so the Park Service won't allow spraying specifically for ladybugs. We often see them in the fall when we have cooler weather. They are attracted by the sun as they are looking for warmth. ⚠️I would highly recommend you consider purchasing travel insurance during the winter months. It is for your protection in the event of inclement weather and you are unable to travel. Please keep in mind the cabin is located within a mountainous area. During winter months, it is advised you drive 4WD or AWD in the event of inclement weather conditions. *Please Note: I am always making changes and updates in the cabin to make sure that each guest has a 5 star experience.*
