A: Yes, the depth at the end of the dock is typically no less than 2 1/2 ft, though it is tidal, and the closest (free) boat ramp right by Shark’s tooth island is Currioman Landing. Children are welcome at the house, however, the house may not be suitable for young children because of the indoor fireplace, lack of child-proofing features and a steep hill with access to the water. Q: Will I encounter any wild animals? A: The house is located in a natural & wooded area, so you may see & hear bugs, bald eagles and ospreys and other birds, furry critters of all sizes (including but not limited to deer, squirrels, and rodents), & reptiles. Our property has regularly scheduled pest control, however, we cannot guarantee that any such critters will not be visible in & around the property. No refunds will be provided if a local critter visits the property.
