The Cash & Carter Suite embodies Southern warmth and musical heritage, blending timeless charm with modern comfort. Accessible through its own private entrance, this spacious retreat features a stately king-size bed with a hand-carved wooden headboard, rich tones, vintage décor, and musical accents that nod to its namesakes. Wingback chairs by the window invite morning coffee or evening conversation, while hardwood floors and warm lighting create a romantic ambiance. The Kennedy Suite brings classic elegance and history to your stay, with soft blues and cream tones, a regal queen-size bed, and a sitting area to unwind. Whether you're sipping coffee on the porch or relaxing in the garden, the scenery is always a highlight. -Outdoor Spaces: Guests can unwind in the peaceful backyard or enjoy the wrap-around porch, perfect for reading, birdwatching, or simply enjoying the fresh mountain air. -Bikes Available: Guests are welcome to use the Inn’s complimentary bicycles—perfect for exploring the charm of downtown Luray or taking a leisurely ride along the nearby Luray Greenway, a scenic walking and biking trail that runs along Hawksbill Creek. With no children on-site, guests can fully unwind—whether that means sipping coffee on the porch swing, strolling to downtown Luray, or enjoying a serene evening under the stars. Please note: The Inn is heated and cooled using mini split systems, which are energy-efficient and help us maintain comfort without altering the structure of our historic building. The mini split in the shared guest space is set to 70°F for your comfort. If the area feels too warm or too cool, you're welcome to turn off the unit using the remote; however, we kindly ask that you return it to 70°F or turn it back on when you leave the space. Due to the limitations of a historic property, we also recommend bringing a personal fan for added comfort during the warmer months.
