A summary of important RULES FROM THE HOA with additional rules for your stay. 1. Please keep noise levels down to be respectful of neighbors, including TV and music. This applies around the clock and especially between 9pm and 9am. It is very important to us that our guests respect our neighbors' peaceful enjoyment of their homes. 2. No smoking allowed inside the building. (Sorry, but we don’t allow smoking at all or pets at C102). 3. Park in designated parking for C102 only. Please have guests use street parking. 4. No roof access allowed for guests. 5. This property is not suitable for parties of any kind at any time and no illegal drug use is acceptable at any time. 6. Disposal of trash shall be by use of the garbage dumpster only at the outside parking lot. All household trash must be secured in bags and placed in the dumpster. 7. To use the pool during normal months of operation (April-August), a waiver must be signed and a copy sent to me for the HOA. This waiver is in the information binder or can be sent upon your request. 8. Please don't store items on the electric stovetop, even if you have it turned off. There is a fire extinguisher under the kitchen sink. If you discover a fire in your unit or in the building, please do the following: Immediately call the Fire Department (911) and tell the dispatcher the floor and unit number, as well as the buildings name and address – GranDevine, 705 Maple Street. Building C. Without further delay, leave your apartment and be sure to close your door behind you. Alert the other residents on your floor by striking the nearest fire alarm along your exit route. Use the nearest stairway to leave your floor. 9. This summary of rules is not complete, so please review and follow the complete rules that can be found in the information binder at the condominium. The rules require common sense respect toward the property and the neighbors. PLEASE BE ADVISED: In the hot summer months, there is an insect called a "cicada killer" that likes to visit the courtyard where you must pass through to enter the condo. They are large, flying insects with a black body and yellow stripes and look like a large hornet. They can be very startling and intimidating if you are not familiar with them when you encounter them for the first time. However, they are not known to display unprovoked aggression toward humans like yellow jackets or paper wasps and they are known as the "gentle giant" of their family of insects. Indeed, they are beneficial to our local environment because they feed on cicadas which destroy trees and bushes. If you are booking in the hotter months, please research them and decide for yourself if you can feel comfortable passing through the courtyard with them around.
