With room for 8 in beds and up to 10 with the pullout couch, it’s the perfect place to gather your crew and breathe in the mountain air. Whether you're exploring Steamboat or staying put to stargaze, this cabin offers comfort, connection and wide-open skies. What You’ll Love: 🛏️ Sleeps up to 10: 1 private queen bedroom, 3 queen beds in the loft, plus a queen pullout sofa 🔥 Gas fireplace: Perfect for snowy evenings or cool summer nights 🍳 Full kitchen: Stocked for cooking (no dishwasher) 📶 Wi-Fi throughout: Great for staying connected (cell service is limited) 🧸 Little Tracks Loft: A play nook with toys and books for younger guests 🌄 Big sky views: Soak up the sunset or watch the stars come out ♨️ Hot tub access: Head to the Hitchin’ Post clubhouse for a soak or game night ✔️ Plenty of room to park your trailer. Bring the toys, sleds, or even horses. This cabin is ideal for families, group getaways or snowmobile weekends with friends. Guests have full access to the Boondocker Cabin. You’ll be staying in one of three unique cabins, alongside The Trapper Cabin (sleeps 2+), The Ranch House (sleeps 7) and the Valleyview Cabin (coming soon!). Each space has its own vibe, but all share the same wide-open skies, peaceful setting, and access to the Hitchin’ Post, our shared guest clubhouse with a hot tub, pool table, darts, a fireplace and more. Trails, lakes and snowmobile access are just minutes away and Steamboat Springs is a scenic 30-minute drive over the pass. Rabbit Ears Basecamp is tucked just off US-40 at the base of Rabbit Ears Pass. You'll want a car to explore the area, especially if you're heading into Steamboat Springs, hitting the trails, or hauling gear for fishing or riding. In winter, we recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles to handle snowy conditions. The roads to the cabins are plowed, but mountain weather can shift quickly. Parking is available right by your place for easy unloading. 🐾 Pet-friendly. Just let us know if you’re bringing your furry friend along! ❄️ AWD or 4WD is recommended in winter 🚗 30 minutes to Steamboat Springs 🛷 5 minutes to trails, lakes and snowmobiling access 📶 Wi-Fi is strong, but cell service may be limited.
