Inside, you’ll find a cozy blend of old and new: vintage wood floors, a fireplace for chilly nights, a big family room for board games and puzzles, and a well-stocked, recently updated kitchen for hearty meals after a day exploring the mountains or local towns. ⸻ ❄️ Enjoy the Season Your Way • Curl up by the fireplace or gather around the outdoor firepit • Watch the sunset from the deck or swing set • Wander our 4 private acres of woods in the quiet of early winter • Visit nearby towns for cozy cafés, holiday markets, and antique shops • Sample local spirits and ciders at Wayside Cider or Union Grove Distillery This is the perfect retreat for couples, friends, or families looking to slow down, reconnect, and savor the calm between fall and the holidays. ⸻ 🪵 The Space • 4 bedrooms (sleeps up to 8 comfortably) • 2 bathrooms • Full kitchen with induction stove + BBQ outside • Indoor fireplace + outdoor firepit • Board games, puzzles, books, and kids’ toys • Smart TV w/ Netflix, Plex, AirPlay + Chromecast • Wi-Fi + reliable cell service • Washer/dryer ⸻ 🌲 Local Favorites • Wayside Cider – cozy taproom and local fare in Andes • Brushland Eating House – elegant, seasonal dining nearby • Binnekill Tavern – local favorite in Margaretville • Andes Rail Trail or Palmer Hill Trail – crisp mountain air and big Catskill views Guests have exclusive access to the entire farmhouse and all 6 acres of the property—including the oversized deck, firepit, swing set, wide-open lawn, and peaceful wooded trails. Whether you’re grilling, exploring, or simply soaking in the mountain air, it’s all yours to enjoy in total privacy. While I won’t be on-site, I’m always just a message away via Airbnb or phone. I’m happy to offer local tips, help with anything that comes up, or just give you the space to fully relax and unwind. We are on top of a mountain, with abundant peace and quiet. A 5 minute drive to the bottom of the mountain will take you to downtown Margaretville, where you can find everything you need; pharmacy, grocery store, shopping, coffee, and restaurants. We are also a short 15 minute drive from Belleayre mountain for all the winter sports.
