Inside, you’ll find a cozy blend of old and new—vintage wood floors, a fireplace for chilly nights, a big family room for board games and puzzles, and a well-stocked kitchen for warm meals in after a day of hiking or apple-picking. ☕ Enjoy fall your way: • Take in peak foliage from the deck or swing set • Roast s’mores by the firepit under the stars • Explore 4 private acres of woods right behind the house • Discover nearby hikes, waterfalls, cideries, and markets • Visit Belleayre, Plattekill, and other Catskills gems This is a perfect retreat for couples, friends, or families looking to slow down, reconnect, and savor the season. ⸻ The Space • 4 bedrooms (sleeps up to 8 comfortably) • 2 bathrooms • Full kitchen with induction stove + BBQ outside • Indoor fireplace + outdoor firepit • Board games, puzzles, books, and kids’ toys • Smart TV w/ Netflix, Plex, AirPlay + Chromecast • Wi-Fi, great cell service • Washer/dryer ⸻ Good to Know • No parties, pets, or smoking anywhere on property • We ask guests to bring trash with them (no town garbage pickup) • The house is not available in summer or winter—fall is your window to enjoy it! • Our family uses this home year-round—we welcome kind, respectful guests who’ll treat it like their own ⸻ Local Favorites • Pakatakan Farmers’ Market (Oct is peak harvest!) • Wayside Cider – warm drinks, cozy vibes • Brushland Eating House – worth the drive • Palmer Hill or Andes Rail Trail – gorgeous fall hikes • Belleayre – scenic drives, chairlift rides, and leaf peeping Guests have exclusive access to the entire farmhouse and all 6 acres of the property—including the oversized deck, firepit, swing set, wide-open lawn, and peaceful wooded trails. Whether you’re grilling, exploring, or simply soaking in the mountain air, it’s all yours to enjoy in total privacy. While I won’t be on-site, I’m always just a message away via Airbnb or phone. I’m happy to offer local tips, help with anything that comes up, or just give you the space to fully relax and unwind. We are on top of a mountain, with abundant peace and quiet. A 5 minute drive to the bottom of the mountain will take you to downtown Margaretville, where you can find everything you need; pharmacy, grocery store, shopping, coffee, and restaurants. We are also a short 15 minute drive from Belleayre mountain for all the winter sports.
