Tastefully designed, it's a seamless blend of style and functionality. Adjacent, there’s a laundry room, complete with a half bath for added convenience. Whether you're seeking a romantic getaway or a peaceful solo retreat, this charming cottage is your haven of relaxation. Our cozy cottage maximizes space with a comfy memory foam queen bed, leaving just over a foot of clearance on either side—perfect for snuggling in, but please mind the limited access and let us know if you need assistance. We also like to let guest know our prime location keeps you close to everything, but you may notice some of nature's critters like squirrels or insects enjoying the area too—please let us know if any wildlife causes issues, and we'll address it promptly! Guests are welcome to enjoy the cottage and property but please note that the garage is not accessible. Kindly refrain from using the back door in the laundry room or the exterior garage doors. These are for emergency exits only. Our street is a secluded oasis away from the hustle and bustle of daily life yet within minutes of many shops, restaurants and things to do. We are only: 7 minutes to I-70 11 minutes to the Rose Music Center 11 minutes to the U.S. Air Force Museum and Wright-Patterson AFB 11 minutes to Scene75 Entertainment Center The cottage sits at the end of a private gravel road on 3 acres. As you slowly make your way down, release your cares and prepare to relax at this secluded hideaway. Please keep speed low out of respect for the neighbors and excess dust. Also be cautious of uneven gravel in some areas. The cottage driveway is toward the end of the road on the left. There is plenty of parking space on the driveway. (Note: there is a low cable line with 9.5 feet clearance) Shared Spaces Chicken Coop: The coop is shared with the farmhouse next door. There is separate gates from each side for guests to visit the hens.

Guests will simply submit household pet information, request an accommodation for an assistance animal (if applicable), or confirm they are not bringing a pet/animal. Its free, and only requires creating an account if youre bringing a pet or animal. After booking, youll receive a link to complete the process. We kindly ask that you avoid using our towels for hair dye to prevent stains, as a replacement fee may apply—thank you for helping us keep things fresh for everyone. Fireplace Safety: As we welcome the winter ambiance with our open wood-burning fireplace, we prioritize safety. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the cozy warmth but kindly remember to monitor the fire at all times. For everyone's safety, please ensure that the fire is contained within the fireplace. Your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines ensures a warm and secure winter retreat for all. Outside Fireplace/Grill: Please feel free to make your own fire and feel free to grill or roast marshmallows in the outdoor fireplace. We ask it be attended at all times and fully extinguished when done. The water spigot is on the driveway side of the house and a watering can nearby. Chickens: Delight in the charm of our farm chickens during your stay! While we encourage interaction, kindly refrain from entering the chicken coop. Roosters can be territorial, and for everyone's safety, it's best to observe these feathered friends from a distance. Thank you for understanding and ensuring a harmonious experience with our farm companions. Feel free to check for eggs in the exterior laying boxes. Water: The house is on well water and uses a septic tank for wastewater. Drinking and cooking water is provided from the 5-gal bottle on the counter. There is no garbage disposal. Please do not put food waste down the kitchen sink. Instead put it in the trash or give it to the chickens. Also please do not flush anything extra down the toilet other than toilet paper.
