Due to past issues with marijuana and cigarette debris on both our property and neighboring homes, smoking of any kind is not permitted anywhere on the property. We kindly ask that any cleaning or maintenance concerns are reported within 2 hours of arrival. This allows us the opportunity to promptly send a crew to address any oversight and ensure your stay is comfortable. After this time, we assume the home is satisfactory. Issues reported later in the stay—especially near checkout—may be difficult for us to verify or resolve. Pets: We kindly ask that all pets are disclosed and added to your reservation prior to arrival. We charge a flat pet fee per stay, which covers up to 2 dogs for the entire length of your stay. As a pet owner who also travels with my own dog, I’ve structured this as a per-stay fee to keep it more affordable than boarding, while still helping cover the additional cleaning, carpet care, and supplies needed after hosting pets. House Rules Arrival Inspection Please review the home upon arrival. If you notice any cleaning, maintenance, or safety concerns, they must be reported within two (2) hours of check-in so we can address them right away. After two hours, we will assume the home is satisfactory and that no issues were present at the start of the stay. Parking Please do not park more than 4 cars at the property. Guests & Visitors Please no additional guests outside of the reservation unless approved. No visitors are allowed at this property unless approved prior. Failure to do so will result in a cancelled reservation with no refund. We have a Ring Camera to help enforce this rule. Parties & Events Parties, events, and gatherings are not permitted at the property. The home is intended for registered guests only. Unauthorized gatherings may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation without a refund. Smoking Please do not smoke Marijuana at the property. Security Devices Tampering with the Ring Camera or Wifi will result in the immediate termination of the reservation without a refund. Pets Please ensure all pets are added to the reservation and disclose any animals on the property. Failure to do so will result in a cancelled reservation with no refund. Please pickup after your pet(s) and clean any mess that they make in the house. Kitchen Equipment Please don't use jalapeños or other strong flavored items in the Ninja Slushie. It will ruin the machine. Hot Tub Please replace the hot tub cover when not in use. Children are not authorized to use the hot tub. Trash Please set the trash bins out on the curb on Sunday night. Safety Please do not tamper with the smoke detectors. Garage Please do not attempt to break into the garage. We keep lawn equipment, seasonal items, and supplies stored in there. Greenbelt / Wooded Area The wooded area adjacent to the home is city-owned greenbelt property and is designated as protected land. It is not part of the rental, and guests are not authorized to enter, explore, or use our gate to access this area. For your safety and in accordance with local regulations, please do not venture into the wooded area. It may contain wildlife such as coyotes, raccoons, deer, snakes, and various insects, as well as poisonous plants like stinging nettles and poison oak. The terrain may also be uneven or hazardous. We appreciate your cooperation in respecting these boundaries and helping us preserve the natural surroundings for everyone's safety and enjoyment. Communication If there's any issues, please report all concerns to the host. If you'd like, I can also show you one tiny rule most Airbnb hosts add that saves them from the two most common damage claims: stained towels and makeup on linens. It’s surprisingly effective.
