-5 Min to MV, 20 min to Waynesville & Smoky Mtn Ntl Park/25 min to Casino/10 min to Soco Falls -Cozy up on the daybed swing with a cup of coffee listening to the waterfall & cascading creek. -Authentic log cabin w/ ~5ft waterfall, short hike to ~20ft cascading waterfall -Secluded hot tub setting w/ unique built-in deck hammock overlooking stars + charcoal BBQ -Relax by the oversized firepit area alongside the rushing creek w/ FREE firewood -PacMan Arcade game, wall Connect-4, ringtoss, Cornhole There are 3 bedrooms and they are ALL located upstairs. The master bedroom and spare bedroom have 1 queen bed each. The bunk room has a full on the bottom and twin on top. The couch downstairs is very comfy and perfect for an extra guest or child. Access to all parts of the cabin/property. Our neighbor's cabin is located approx. 100 yards down the hill from Storybook Falls. We will be available at all times with the exception of late evening hours. Digital guidebook given with house manual and things to do/favorite places after confirmed reservation. Private Cabin on 1 acre onto of Sheepback Mt. Please note that there is an uphill gravel road that is used to get to the property. It is graded monthly and kept in good condition year-round. In inclement weather, we recommend a vehicle with all-wheel drive. During snowy conditions or winter storms, an all-wheel or 4-wheel vehicle is required. The driveway to reach the property is paved but it is somewhat steep. Vehicles can park at the bottom of the driveway if desired. The hot tub is professionally cleaned after every guest, giving you piece of mind that you'll have a great experience. This is included in the cleaning fee. Being that the cabin is on well water, during the dry season or due to long periods of rain, sediment may settle on the bottom of the hot tub after it is cleaned. This is normal. The hot tub is turned down between guests to conserve energy. Therefore, the temperature may need to be turned up upon arrival. Guest is required to contact us if they would like this remedied or if there are any issues with the hot tub/cabin cleanliness within 24 hours of check in time. Please note that along with most of the cabins in Maggie, the cabin is equipped with manually-controlled baseboard heaters. It is the guest’s responsibility to keep children and pets away from these while in use because the surface will get hot. We also have window AC units that are manually controlled. We offer free firewood to all our guests located next to the firepit. Our electric fireplace provides ambiance year-round with crackling sounds and heat. BYOP: Bring your own passwords to access streaming applications! No cable available. For top bunkbed only, linens will be folded at the foot of the bed for use. Unlimited 5G wifi usage through Tmobile. The windows in the cabin are original. For preservation and safety, we ask our guests to keep them closed. For our guests' safety and wildlife preservation, we do not keep trash receptacles outside of the cabin. If there is an extended stay, the guest may have to take their trash to the county waste site, just in town. Maggie Valley does not have regular trash service due to mountainous terrain and wildlife. There is 1 security camera located outside the cabin pointed towards the driveway that is utilized for security and safety purposes. Strengths of waterfalls on property are seasonal. Post Hurricane Milton, the hike up to the cascading waterfall may be more difficult than normal. Please watch children and wear appropriate footwear. There is a starter pack of essentials for every guest. We do not provide more supplies after the start pack is up.
