Cancellation policies for your listing

Sometimes, things come up and guests have to cancel. To keep things running smoothly, you can choose the cancellation policy for your listing if you imported from Airbnb or created a listing directly on Crewdogs. If your listing is connected through a Property Management Software (PMS), your cancellation policy will be directly mapped from your PMS.

Refunds are entirely enforced by you, the host, in accordance with your cancellation policy. As the Merchant of Record (MOR), we will always seek your prior approval before disbursing any refunds for cancellations. Crewdogs facilitates this; we do not dictate it like other OTAs.

Cancellation policy effective times are established in the local time for the listing location. The default check-in time will be 4 PM local unless a check-in time is established by the listing host.

Whatever cancellation policy you have set in your PMS will be honored exactly as-is on Crewdogs. This applies to all PMS-connected listings including Hospitable, Guesty, Hostaway, OwnerRez, Streamline, and others.

Standard cancellation policies for shorter stays

Your standard cancellation policy applies to all reservations of 27 or fewer consecutive nights. You can choose one of the following standard cancellation policies:

• Flexible and Government Travel

  • Guests can cancel up to 24 hours before check-in for a full refund, and you won't be paid for that reservation
  • If they cancel after that, you'll be paid for each night they stay, plus one additional night
  • A different policy may be selected for standard travel, but Government travel will be assigned this policy

• Standard

  • To receive a full refund, guests must cancel at least 7 days before check-in
  • After that, you'll be paid 50% of the total amount up to check-in
  • No refunds after check-in

• Strict

  • To receive a full refund, guests must cancel at least 30 days before check-in, or within 48 hours of booking with at least 7 days before check-in
  • If they cancel between 7 and 30 days before check-in, you'll be paid 50% for all nights
  • If they cancel after that, you'll be paid 100% for all nights

• Super Strict 60 Days (Beta)

  • Guests must cancel at least 60 days before check-in, or within 48 hours of booking with at least 30 days before check-in, to receive a full refund for all nights
  • If they cancel after that, you'll be paid 100% for all nights

Long-term cancellation policies for monthly stays

Your long-term cancellation policy applies to monthly stays, which are reservations of 28 or more consecutive nights. For stays greater than 6 months, Crewdogs will not display a cancellation policy, and all lease details can be directly messaged between the landlord and tenant.

• Standard

  • To receive a full refund, guests must cancel at least 30 days before check-in
  • If a guest cancels after that, you'll be paid 100% for all nights spent, plus 30 additional nights
  • If fewer than 30 nights remain on the reservation when the guest cancels, you'll be paid 100% for all of those remaining nights
