Who can Join?
Anybody from the military community, past or present! Veterans, Active, Reservists, or Spouses. See our crewdogs® verified page to learn more about how we keep the platform trustworthy and safe. It’s important we ALL stick together. The sacrifices of military service are born by both service members and their spouses, so Crewdogs® allows us all to join.
What can I add or list?
Anything! We’ve built in the flexibility to share anything from a free couch to crash on for a night, to an entire home that can be rented long term. For all the Airbnb/STR owners, cross-list your place and finally let the military community find your place first. Find your next roommate, a buddy to crash with, or get your place rented out before your next PCS. Our community is on the move, and we need as many solutions as possible.
What tools does Crewdogs® provide ?
For hosts:
Crew dogs® lets you add any type of listing, from a single room, to multiple rooms in one location (like a hotel), or an entire place.
Sync a calendar to Airbnb, VRBO, or any Property Management Software to avoid double bookings or manual work, to include the automated assignment of guests in a multiple-room listing. Calendar sync videos here
Offer a nightly, weekly, and monthly rate as well as any deposits, fees, or taxes that will be applied. Even allow guests to select official travel and offer an exclusive per diem rate for these guests that are JTR compliant. This is all automatically calculated and advertised during booking.
In-App messaging lets you chat and pass documents, but automated email flows keep your entire property management team in the loop. Reach out to learn how to add a co-host.
For guests:
Use our worldwide user friendly map to search around the globe or scroll through listings using our listing interface. Our search tool lets you search around any city or military installation in the world.
Use our filters to narrow down the list. We let you filter type of places, stay lengths, host age, rank, or status, plus rates, distance, and amenities. We know who you stay with can be just as important as what you are staying in. This lets spouses find spouses, or those looking for roommates find someone in a similar stage in life.
Payment processing is in the works, this will allow for automated payments and invoicing for stays. As a host, you’ll be able to set your desired charge time (at booking, check-in, or check-out), plus automate monthly charges for longer stays. All receipts produced will be itemized with daily rates and taxes.
